The Wildhearts lost

by electrochick @ Monday, 21. Apr, 2008 - 21:12:06

This memory-thing's a pain in the butt.

Hubby played The Wildhearts in the car yesterday. I love The Wildhearts, but though I recognised the style - I couldn't say what band was playing. And I didn't recognise the tracks at all :??: That's not very good for a classic rock chick is it!

Ginger

After he'd told me who was playing, I remembered that they have a track I love - "Bang". So I'm off to find it now (because I can't remember what it sounds like - only what it's called) :))

Now there is an up-side to all this. Though I can't remember good stuff, I can enjoy 'discovering' bands I like(d) all over again ;D

Hi, I've enjoyed reading your blog about the ECT. It's brought back memories of when I had them. I found that I can relate to the changes in the tone of your posts....

I expect most of your memories will return, particularly your favorite music and so forth. The things that you'll miss most are memories from just before the ECT began. So good you were blogging then!

See you at zap...

Nice to see you :)

It's encouraging to hear that you can relate to the changes I'm experiencing - that makes me think that things are going as they should.

I hope most of my memories do return. It's all a bit strange at the moment. After each ECT, I read through my blog to find out what I've been doing! Lol.

See you at zap...

That must be so odd!

But just think of the money you could save - You discover three or four bands you really like, then after a couple of years you have your memories of the bands removed and then "discover" the CD's in your rack and "Oh wow, this is good stuff!" all the joy all over again.

But I think I would be a little worried about loosing the memory of a favourite band. Does it happen with other things? Can you not remember what foods you like on occasion.

Anyway, hope all is going well apart from the band blackouts.

Yeah I could save loads of cash, and enjoy all those great bands all over again! So there are some positives to losing one's memory :)

Music is not the only thing I forget apparently - but I don't find that out 'till someone laughs at me lol. What I'm finding though is that my tastes seem be changing a bit - I don't like all the same foods I used to, and I'm wanting to try new stuff.

But hey - the trend is upwards. So that's good :)

xx
